What the didn't know

Location

Tick Tock.

I don't have time for this.

It looks lonely sitting by itself,

On the dusty shelf.

I want to fit in.

They say "Don't judge a book by its cover,"

But here I am,

Judging it like they judge me.

But what they didn't know is that,

No book is the same.

When you open them up you can go to a different world.

Where you can be anything you want to be

Whether it's Cinderella or a spy.

Imagination never ending

Heart pounding with every page turned

Leaving all worries behind,

And all fears are forgotten.

But luckily,

When you have to say good bye to this wonderful adventure,

Just grab another and start all over

again.
