What are You Waiting For?

Bound to that wall

Some one came in

Why did they freed Me?

Bands on my wrists

They tried to leave

I stare at what I don't want to be.

They said to go

Said we should leave

I just sit here quietly

They seems confused

I never talk

I can't just get up and walk

They leave me be

Who came for me?

I am as wounded as can be.

I hear some one

This isn't here

I am staring in a mirror.

My mom comes in

she looks at me

"What are you waiting for?"

By then I know

What she can't see

I see the monster inside of me

Why did they free me?

I was in chains for a reason.

I asked for them.

The monster purrs

It stares at me

I wish to drown it in the sea.

They came and saw.

The monster freed.

They said, "What are you waiting for?"

See me puzzeled

I am confused

The monster is amused.

Tame her

Tame her?

She's just as trapped as you.

Just let her go

She'll find a way

She can keep you safe for days

They want her free?

How can this be?

Can't they see she kills the trees?

She guides me out

Are we safe now?

She gives a chirp

She sings?

She's brighter now

I have to say

She kept me safe for many days

I taught her how

Now we are free

We live as free as the sky can be.

She sings!

Charta:

Consists of three lines and is similar to a haiku. The first two lines are exatly four syllables, and the last line is made of more than four but less than ten.

I made the charta, just so you know, so if you search it up you'll find nothing. 'Charta' is 'poem' or 'book' in latin
