What ...

Romans 8:20-21

20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope;  21 because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.

What.

Absurdity in blue chagrin

how silly that must be?

To finally reel the nutty in

and think you will be free.

To reason things you cannot change

to make sense out of the lot.

And still to hope for a better range

of things … that are left to rot.

To waste a life with pen in hand,

to act like you fulfill.

Destiny's grip in future planned

is like writing your own will.

It did not need to be this way

or is a change in deed

a compromise or need to pay

your life's call with God's speed?

Does it make a difference

in the span of things’  array?

Impressions fade with no hindrance

making reality … stray?

Unmarked …  un-movable boundaries

set by past emotions in vessels of clay.

As tears wash away these memories,

And the way out is just to pray
