Truth itself is an ideology

It is not a comparison between fact or fiction

That is a false analogy

created by an acclaimed democracy

But ideology is not democracy

it is economy, theocracy, technology

It is an autobiography

written by left hand liberal

and right hand Republican

every letter blurred by the intertwining of prejudice hands

From the moment we are born

we are told that truth is left and fallacy is right

or that truth is right and fallacy is left

but it is all bullshit.

the convergence of lines towards

the convergence of minds towards

one

truth is a convergence of eyes towards

the evanescence of linear perspective.  

for perspective cannot be defined as linear

or as a line that goes

right

to left

or left

to right

 

The way we perceive is true and real

but when tampered with by society

and put on a straight path

by government and media

it is no longer real and true

rather it becomes a weapon of glue

that adheres our minds to

a linear line

that heads straight towards

one  

focal

point.

 

a point where individualism

equality

and democracy

are all apparent

but we all know that those ideologies

are only ideal

they are not real.

they are sprayed with alluring perfume

and read

“There is not a liberal America

and a conservative America

there is the United States of America.”

but these very words were written

by left and right hands.

the division still exists

between the rich and the poor

the minority and the majority.

People always say that things are not always

black and white

true and false

things are grey.

But if grey is the mixture of black and white

true and false

left and right

ideology and ideology

all we end up with is

one

giant

never ending

never escaping

theory-

conjecture

assumption

that we call truth.

The very idea that we use to

validate our world

obscures it instead.
