A Wet Rock

Location

PO Box 81
United States

Not a best way for a rock to be

One day, buried deep'; asleep

Along comes a term; erosion

Hot and cold; gravity; a ride down the hill

Rolling and stopping on a road

All around, the other rocks are called, gravel

Smaller, rounder, flatter...

There it sat, perfectly still while the new snow on top, melted

Waiting covered in water

and testing its sharp, fractured point,

on the next unsuspecting tire.
