Were all broken
Every piece of our hearts is shattered,
Something like glass when it breaks,
It’s fragile,
But you can just throw that in the trash,
Our hearts?
They need healing,
Tell me your heart isn’t broken,
And I’ll call you a liar,
Cause as long as were still living on this earth,
Somewhere in hearts will still be broke,
From what you see on tv,
See in your family,
Or witness in your neighborhood,
It’s reality,
Were all broken,
Why you think you got cracks in your hands,
And vains popping out when you scream,
Why you think were called humans,
And imperfect,
Cause were broken,
Our emotions comes out of our eyes,
We don’t cry,
We break free from the label of perfection,
It’s not tears but our hearts dripping out,
Our skin was made to look perfect cause it’s quiet,
It doesn’t say a word beneath,
Cause our hearts are embarrassing to him,
Their loud,
Have feelings,
that if they came out would damage his image,
He hates our brokenness,
Cause it’s real,
And he’s made to look fake,
That’s why we live in a hidden society,
Don’t know who we are,
Cause were ashamed to believe,
That were all,
broken.
