Wednesday evening

Wednesday evening I saw paradise,

I met the tender breeze hiding in your eyes.

The hope of twenty-one years was revived,

I became, for an instant, the prosperous seed

Of silence and the sea.

The perfect place for misunderstood dreams

Where my inner girl tends to get away.

Wednesday evening, something clicked inside my head.

The synergy of heart and mind converged

And made the audience disappear.

Wednesday evening, it was just you and me.

Complete strangers staring at each other

for the very first time.

And for me, it was a miracle,

A manifestation of innocence and genuine affection.

An everlasting memory worth of devotion.

An extraordinary greeting,

for the charming soul that you are.
