Look at her look at you

do you see those scars like I do?

They hide within your skin

to blend in

You forget about it over time,

but did you know it was an

abused crime?

Those scars where given to

US so we could forget us

We Shall over Come

Anything Rough because are Strong

My people let us come together

an no longer be apart

We judge each other by

skin tones, but under there is just plain bones

SCARS? to me they're beauty

We are in 2018 and equality is

still part of fantasy genre

Why don't we not see them as an ugly mark but

a history mark
