We Grow Up So Fast

They say " We grow up so fast"

and wished time would slow down.

Just wishing back for the past,

where childish memories are found.

Hugable, Adorable, Lovable,

Always stealing the spotlight,

yanking all thier loving eyes

beause she shined so bright.

Spoiled Rotten,

who got what she wanted,

even when being bad,

she'd never got in trouble for it.

Cute, Young, Innocent,

who hardly knew what things mean.

Enjoying life as a kid,

before knowing the struggles of a teen.

No work, No responsibilities.

More naps and more fun.

Till now, staying up late

with homework still undone.

No help from Mom and Dad.

Having to make big decisions on my own,

with no one holding my hand

because now I'm almost grown.

Finally a senior,

who's ready to graduate someday,

watching Mom and Dad crying,

believing I was just a baby yesterday.
