Waterfall

James 1:15

15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.

Waterfall

If one could color sadness ... what color would it be?

Can one polish and shine ... what was born dull?

Can one camouflage ... so that no one can see

this condition mine ... in search of a lull?

If one is conceived in happiness ... can life change its tune?

Is love present every time ... or is instinct here in play?

Is not then its loneliness ... that plays out its cartoon

drawn in single lines ... without depth or words to say?

If the predestined conditional falls on the results of our actions

Is reaping then what we sow ... beyond our control somehow?

Is it almost comical ... as we seem to impart in fractions

life and death’s common flow ... persuading self to bow?
