Warfare Part2

Hearing loud voices, and seeing only red. he runs like a mad man, To the old market ahead.
With a deathly smirk, At the destruction he's caused. Anger waits patiently, As he ponders on how happiness will fall.
The emotion that he is, Overrides his mind. Strategically handicapped, He rushes into battle as if there's no time.
Darkness befalls on this god forsaken town on earth, This unholy shadow he's grown accustom to since birth.
As happiness rounds the corner of a torn down building, Anger spots him with vengeance unyielding. "Are you ready to finish this you weakling?" Anger screams aloud. His temper flares as he see's happiness not respond with a single sound.
"Silent as always, well let's finish this". Anger launches at him to eliminate his target, And end this emotional warfare that he started.

Hey Xhalen C,

May I first ask you, aside from the obvious, what is this poem about? What does it mean to you?

Poetic X

This poem is about the feeling you get when your emotions are conflicted and you don't know what to feel. I wanted to add a modern effect of imagery to the poem for everyone to understand it old and young alike.

it puts feeling and purpose into a work  and to me it means that feelings need to be in order and being at "war" constantly with each other makes for great emotional distress
