The War of Light and Dark

The Light,

It streams through the Trees.

in long and glistening rays,

It glows and beams.

But with every Light,

There is a Shadow,

That swallows the Forest,

Half full, Half hallow,

In the Sun, the Shadow darkens all the more,

In the Shade, the Light seems brighter than it did before.

Either way, the Light appeals,

To what, it seems, the Shadow steals.

The Beauty of Nature, not seen before,

Shows the Light and Darkness,

Here at War
