A war hero is more than a woman or a man,
For our country they proudly take a stand,
They put their lives on the line to us alive,
Worrying for others, and not afraid to die,
They are the heart and soul of the USA,
And every night before we sleep, in their name we should pray,
Pray for their safety and well being while over seas,
May God bless them and keep their minds at ease,
Our troops provide services to keep us all free,
They stand up to our enemies for our safety,
The Army, the Navy, the Air Force, and Marines,
The bravest people that anyone has ever seen,
So when you see a hero be sure to thank them for all they do,
Because freedom comes with a price and they pay for me and you.
