War

Apathy is armor

when the world is war.

If the sun sets red

will there be a dawn?

Rivers run deep

as your face

turns to stone.

Nothing can hurt you,

nothing can burn.

I'd give this earth

to shake, to rumble,

to earthquake

your center.

If I could theive the night

from your eyes

I'd take your armor

even in war, so that

as peace comes,

you let in the sun.
