The Walk.

One foot infront of the other I walk down the hall

It's depressing to look at them all

Faces obiously urning for more

But instead are concentrated on the floor

As an athlete I am expected to see nothing

But as a I walk all I can do is see hurting

I want more than anything to stop and plead

But others cna't see who wants to take the lead

Not just faces and names but people

Strong but made to believe that they are feeble

Through word and action

Maybe it's time to gain some traction

To break through the wall

and to show the people that they are not so small

As an athlete I am expected to keep walking

But now it's my turn to do the talking

To rise up as equals

and spread the word to all peoples
