Wake me Up
I am somewhere outside myselfCaught in dripping clocks; An eerie state of not-quite-awakeness I walk through the dream That is my lifeDistortion clouds my reality Still, pain flows freely; My thoughts are shadowedIn desperation Your pain cuts through meSending me further from my bodyThe body that can not be mine My voice Forever edges with the threat of tearsThe voice that can not be mine I watch a movieA movie I can not pauseThrough eyes that can not be mine I watch you, screamingMy voice dripping in defeatNow I drip with dread Wake me up.
