Waiting for Her

Every direction, every way.
I look for you, where I may.
For your love, I'll search forever.
On any land, of any weather.

What troubles me, is what I never knew.
That what I'm searching for,
really isn't you.

You put on a great show,
and now I know...
the smile on your face,
was never in the right place.

It tempted me, so I tempted you,
and like my wildest dreams, you fell right through.

I still search for your smile,
I search for your ways.
Still waiting for you,
...just in another place.
