The Vow

You saw me when I didn't see myself.
When I couldn't bare to look in the mirror,
you held it up to my face depicting a reflection of me with you by my side and then I saw life.
I saw light.
I see now, that we are one.
One being, one meaning, one step at a time in the right direction.
God put his breathe in our souls so that they may intertwine in this way on this our day. So in my special way, I rejoice and praise him for the you he's created for me.
For we. to thrive in such a spectacular way I say it's quite amazing.
I delight in being the essence in each curl that pieces together the smile that graces your face every morning when I wake to yet another golden day.
And every night when I pray, I thank the Lord for the time he spent creating you for my sake.
I question not if you feel the same way... if I cross your mind...are you worth my time?
No I cannot deny, I have never experienced something so Devine.
And so my soul declares for the millionth time, I love you, I am yours and you are mine.
