The Songbird's Lament

Must you berate the songbird's melody?

Under what circumstance does it apply to you?

Sorrow must fill your heart to despise it's tune.

I personally love to hear his song

Considering he is calling for his true love.

Imagine a world where the birds did not sing

So silent, with no indication of a joyful day.

Most birds do not heed the concerns that

You voice so strongly.

Life is practical for the songbird who sings.

It is his duty to sing day and night

For music is his ticket to true love.

Everything is relative, and like the songbird, I too thrive from singing.
