Hebrews 12:1-2

The Lord’s Discipline

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us, 2 keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

How much do you see … living through me

in reaching out for what’s lost?

So that “Hope” within me … surrounds what is free

to discover all that’s at a loss.

To be bound to secure … then in Truth to endure

is the primary goal for my God.

In the willingness mine … through visions sublime

to serve Him freely or not.

Through obedience instilled with the Spirit then filled

in the ways that bring no harm.

In that to ensure … refreshed to be pure

in the shelter of His arms.

To follow Him where … with no doubts or snare

the path my Savior has trod.

To bring the lost near … delivered from fear

to the One who paid all the cost.

His fragrance to share … understanding His care

with angels protecting what’s His.

For Glory to be … you being freed

in Eternity’s embrace full of bliss
