Snow fell in huge flakes

as it was just the perfect atmospheric conditions. 

The sky was hues of purple and blue.

School cancelled for the week,

allowing two girls two sleep on the pull-out couch,

in the living room by the window,

where they watched while flakes fell onto the parking lot.

Everything quiet.
