Vapor

James 4:14

14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone.

Only love we leave behind...

Yesterday I said it … today it is in print.

Tomorrow it will fade away like it never was.

Aimlessly it seems … life’s daily grind

A birth, a breath, a heartbeat and then a final gasp

Life is but a vapor … to rise up in the air

There to form with others … a sullen quiet mist

All together in oneness … to obstruct the view

in denseness of the multitude ... to drown it’s every wish

Far above the multitude … there the Son resides

He’ll burn away the mist … to bring clarity

In Him life has a purpose ... and vapors become time

configured in Everlasting … in utmost purity.
