The value of a tear ...

Job 6:2

“Oh, that my grief were fully weighed,
And my calamity laid with it on the scales!

How does grief accept its course when it invades my being?

It keeps me awake at night and grinds me into dullness.

It takes me to a land of wishes ... founded on “I don’t care”

where shades of black rule and the night exercises hazy-ness.

Is grief a form of death and that completely through emotion?

If emotion has the upper hand nothing can stand in its way.

It could be happy or lonely ... caught in grief or exultation

as in many different ways ... it can capture and enslave.

What is contained in a tear ... the completeness of our being?

At a certain point and time ... is it compressed that way?

The fullness of emotion ... released in single drops

to help us release the pressure ... of our world in disarray.
