Value 4

Proverbs 22:1 The Value of a Good Name

22 A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches,
Loving favor rather than silver and gold.

Proverbs 27:21 The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold,

And a man is valued by what others say of him.

Value

What is true value … some words carved in stone …

or some glittering metal, that greed condones?

What is a soul’s worth compared with a dollar?

Is somehow thought’s birth or a drink under the collar?

What is our own value in our hidden desires?

Do we have a clue about swimming in the mire?

Maybe, all in all, we are too undervalued

Patiently after every fall and spite our rallies

Price gauging is no issue for the human soul

You better grab a tissue as your tears are on a roll

Most everyone is lonesome and travels all alone

Surrounded by the wholesome, the ones dried to the bone
