A valecdiction to favorite place

Staring out the window,
I take a final look,
At the place I spent my
Childhood; the place I found
Both friends and enemies.
The one place I always found
Someone to talk to.

The possibility of ever coming
Back here is unknown;
Leaving was the hardest thing,
All the people, friends, family;
The sweet breeze under the trees.

I feel homesick, but I know in my
Heart that one day, near or far,
I will find my way back.
