The sound of the birds , telling me nature is calling

When I make someon laugh , and they didn't expect it

 

The traditions of a family

The talents of others

When I sing , dance, or play , and the spotlight is on me

 

The last piece of chocolate cake

The first bite of ice cream

When my love sits there and stares at me 

 

The purring of my cat

The tickle of his whiskers

When I ask myself "How old is that cat?"

 

The dance parties my sister and I throw 

The party for when my brother turned 12 years old

When my friends find confidence in me 

 

The people on the street that ask you how you are doing

The face of the people ,astonished , when you ask  them how they are feeling

When you show someone you care , and they feel such relief

 

The feeling of volunteering , in a world lacking of care

The joy I feel around " Special needs" kids

When I read my sister a book , and use silly voices. 

 

The feelings are there , they all uplift me 

The feeling from all around the world make me happy beyond compare

When I learn about others that is when I am happiest.
