The words are in my head
But not on paper in ink.
Forming oh so slowly,
It makes it hard to think.
I grab a piece of paper,
The pen is in my hand,
But why I am not writing,
I just can’t understand.
I try to write them out,
With all the force I’ve found,
But still they do resist me.
Why can’t I write them down?
Finally, I call it quits,
Because maybe it’s for the better,
That these thoughts inside my head,
Remain an unwritten letter.
