Untitled

She sits in a corner

She averts her eyes

Though no one sees her

She thinks they pry

She darts her head

She covers her face

No one can hear

Her beating heart race

She smiles on cue

She laughs without heart

They get the feeling

She's lost a part

She pulls down her sleeves

So the colors don't show

But some peek through

Her skin does not glow

The watercolor painting

She hides on her arms

Her father gave to her

She knows he does harm.
