Alone.

In a dark room I lie

with a single tear pouring out of my eye.

Sad.

Because I'm all alone

and an old friend of mine is off getting stoned.

Weak.

Because I fell back into his arms

where I thought I'd be safe from all harm.

Wrong.

Even when I thought i was right

because all good decisions were hidden from my sight.

Still.

As a summer's night lies my old friend

all his mistake led him to this end.

Lost.

He said he was missing his heart

maybe that's the reason we've grown apart.

Alone again.

I gently weep

until I fall into a dreamless sleep.
