Untitled

Many try so hard to appreciate

The beauty of clean, pure, untouched nature.

Some even try to falsely recreate

Instead of loving the calming pleasure.

As you canoe through the slow, blue water,

Your whole body is filled with peacefulness.

Seeing the trees of the surrounding acre

Makes you feel nothing but true thankfulness.

After that, you return to your campsite.

You battle cold by sitting by the fire.

This experience gives you a new insight

Of natural beauty that does not expire.

The humbling beauty of this nature

Cannot be captured in such a picture.
