I am White.

A stereotype

To a world of hate:

Privileged

Ignorant

Prejudice to any

I am not your stereotype

Hate cannot take

The satisfaction

Of calling me

“White”

My skin is but a color.

I am a person

Rooted in love

Understanding

Acceptance

To me color is but color,

Because

People are People

Not Colors.

Who am I,

White,

To say I am not

A stereotype?

But who are you,

A person,

Like me,

To say

I am?
