unraveled

i am thread

thin and delicate

easily broken

i called to you

among the other bundles

you chose me

why?

was i the most vulnerable?

i opened up to you

as if i was on a sewing machine

spinning through

weaving into fabric

then you abandoned me

empty

threw me out and replaced me

but the new thread isn't the same

it'll never be the same

you cannot re-ravel me
