Unlocking The Caged Brid

I watched her grow from a wingless vision to a dream of substance, Her eyes wonder with questions for an world outside of the cage, Her young pass discovered life's dark corners which I could not save her from, She needed to live in the shadows to overcome the blackness of the concrete jungle, When she began singing tunes of a brighter day, I knew she was ready to share her purpose with the unknown that she will encounter, Unlocking the cage knowing my own fate, I watched her fly away with wings of substantial dreams, Dreamt to cure millions of wrongs, Although I died some time after, I died knowing that I delivered the caged bird who whispers songs that would bring peace to our gloomy world, Something we dearly crave.
