Unless selected

Isaiah 55:8-9 New English Translation (NET Bible)

“Indeed, my plans are not like] your plans,
and my deeds are not like your deeds,” says the Lord,
9 “for just as the sky] is higher than the earth,
so my deeds are superior to your deeds
and my plans superior to your plans.

Sad and lonely reaching out like tree branches reaching upward

Painted strokes, that without a doubt, seem to hang from this day forward

The background like the rising sun somewhere hidden below the horizon

Designed before yesterday was done even the angels now surprising

Can it be this world of old as it was designed to be serene?

And somewhere got oversold by the devil and his queen

The Great Power shaped it with might and beauty in His Hand

So that in spite of evil forces true beauty seems still to stand

To tear down what once was perfect all the created cannot do

unless permitted and selected within the boundaries made for you
