Who knew that we 

Would end up where we are now 

That’s the crazy thing 

about the future

That it is forever unknown

You never know 

Which day will be your last

Or where your path will lead you 

You’ll never know the future 

Until it is your present 

So all we truly know 

Is the present moment we are in

So remember this knowing 

If you begin to feel fear

Or stress or worry 

For this will never 

Help you in anyway 

If the future is always unknown

Ride life like a wave

Not thinking about the future wave

That you will have to catch

But only focusing on the feeling

Of riding the one you are currently on

You don’t know 

What the next wave will be like 

So fully be present with each one 

Even if it is a scary wave

Or a stressful wave 

Be present and remember 

These emotions won’t do you any good

Find the peace while riding each wave

And be here now
