The United Nations

The world of men is always at war,
Hardly ever a peaceful moment passes.
Weak beg the strong whom they do adore,
In a mad man’s palm, nations are glasses.

Man claims the battlefield in order to
Show and take blood of the lesser foe.
Many cannot finish what they should do,
Leaving it to those with corrupt dough.

Yet, the world has finally agreed upon
A group to lead and supervise us.
The age has now come to a new dawn,
Let us make peace without all the fuss.

The United Nations brings us peace,
All the war and hate inside release.
