14 Do not become partner with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness?

It seems that much has to fail

As life goes on this seems unnerving

As truth right now appears so pale

 

The breaking up of a marriage

The victims are always kids

Almost like a broken carriage

To be fading away amiss

 

Equally yoked so why the changes

It started so good long ago

And now as life is rearranged

We’re finally arrived in the know

 

A blanket of confusion

To cover some restless souls

Accepted as a welcome intrusion

As anger has just a goal

 

The only sign now visible

Is the exit in fading light?

Darkness appears permissible

As days turn into night
