Unconditional Love
Unconditional love,
There is no need of compensation or expectation
But only great ingenuous care and love exists
How great the warmth of socks is,
When they wrap around our feet
But never did we appreciate them
They are willing to take filthy jobs
Serving us from the lowest of lowest
Bearing burdens never had they deserved
Oh, how we take them for granted
By tossing ‘em away
When they show a wound of dedication
As if what they have done for us didn’t mean anything
But never do they complain
Nor want anything back from us
Oh, socks, how great their unconditional love is!
