An Uncensored Mind (Why I write?)

Sitting in class, extra bored dozing off,

"I am a woman, phenomenally; phenomenal woman."

Deep inside an uncensored mind of a young woman,

Success of a black woman conquering a man-made game.

Office filled with honors and true happiness that coulld only be acquired after a long 5k run.

I woke with a start once I heard the bell getting up for lunch,

'phenomenal woman' ran through my mind, so I asked my teacher.

"Maya Angelou is her name and phenomenal woman is her game."

Slowly I began writing my own hidden meaning to life.

Insight to the mind of a young girl, I became hypontized by every curve of each letter I wrote.

(PAUSE) What does this mean?  Why do I express myself in writiting better ran than in voice?

Maybe it is because anybody can voice an opinion, but how many are willing to write for their cause.

This is my impression of escape into the deep relams of an educated, non-judged, uncensored mind of a young female.
