unanswered question

I gazed up at the stars.

Counted one by one.

I wondered and contemplated:

How each one got there.

How they moved.

How they danced in the sky.

I saw the moon light,

how it made the stars

glitter like gold

shine like silver

flash like fireflies.

The wind drew my breath

caressed my soul and

whispered my answer,

to softly to hear.

I reached out to grab

one heavenly light;

it was glowing in

the palm of my hand-

I breathed the innocence

and tasted the joy.

But it fell from me.

Fell from my hold.

And dimmed in the

darkness of the earth.

A light appeared ahead

of me-

A light of Jesus.

A light of Lucifer.

Calling ,

Beckoning
me forward.

Asking me:

How are you here.

How did you move.

How did you dance with life’s troubles.

i shook my head

and looked back to the stars-

thats not the question.
