Ubiquitous

Thu, 02/02/2017 - 11:16 -- JTG

I'd love to be ubiquitous,
And watch you look up the word.
Halcyon, more than a bird,
Swam at sea in wintertime.
Above the moon, beyond your mind.
Sipping fine wine at home might be better.
Not now or then but more like more often than not.
Finding colored glass upon the sea shore while strolling.
Who said poems had to rhyme hadn't the time I'd say,
Why can't we get paid on Thursday?
