The Two Sided Us

Locations

You are pure.

A white maiden floating on the shore of a quiet beach.

The waves gently rolling at your heels, desperate

to caress the skin of someone so gentle, so... pure!

You are evil.

A fork-tongued serpent slithering in a dark forest of uncertainties.

Creatures of all kinds frantic by the mere thought of your presence.

Someone so dark and loathsome could never be spoken of.

You are beautiful.

The sun follows you as if you are its source of light.

Natural radiance feeding what feeds the world,

feeding my heart in the process.

You are grotesque.

The sharp crooks of your spine leave eyes fixated on you.

Each disfiguration is accented by your crude disposition,

deteriorating all sense of normality; keeping you on edge.

You are me.

You are everyone who speaks- words flowing from your lips.

You are everyone who feels- emotions like colors against the night sky.

You are everyone who thinks- keeping what matters most inside your mind.

You are we. And we are one.
