Two plus two

Location

They teach us how to add numbers

They teach us how to subtract numbers

They teach us how to divde numbers

They lack teaching us how to add new people in our lives

Making friends isn't easy

In a room full of judging teenagers

Everyone talks, nobody listens

Wave hello

And you're a freak

They taught me how to add two plus two

They didn't teach me how to add someone new

I can subtract two minus two

But can you subtract someone who hasn't been true to you?

Losing friends, hurts

Losing family members, hurts the worst

I can subtract two minus two

But can I cope with losing someone who was true?

Two divided by two is one

You see that when you end up being the only one

You are your own best friend, you are your own number one

People come

People go

Do they teach me how to endure, though?
