Two Eyes, One Tragic Demise

Wed, 11/26/2014 - 15:40 -- ejb777

Unhinge the door,

Pull the lever,

Unravel some more;

You just may never

Reach the core.

Beneath the grins,

where do I begin?

I've got

Solar-systems for eyes.

Wander-lusting

Will always

Be my tragic demise.

Talents and interests

More scattered than stars,

Oh boy, let me tell you,

They won’t take me too far.

Exams standardize me.

Essays grade me.

Oh please tell me,

What do you see?

A desk,

Two pencils,

A one-hundred for a grade,

How do you want

To see me portrayed?

Life is all about mirrors,

You see,

I will only show you

What you want me to be.
