Two Can

Wed, 07/10/2013 - 18:04 -- afranci

I look in the mirror and I see the deepest parts of my heart.

You look in my eyes, but only see my outermost part.

And yet, because I'm made of two, you all expect me to choose?

But, where do I go, when both sides say, "No," because I'm half, not whole.

Your heart is blind to the sights of the eye. Yet you allow my color to define my place in this life.

You can preach the word, but don't forget we all came from the original it-couple.

A single color can't make millions, but two can.
