For one it's a home. The other a cage.
It feels bright. It feels black.
He isn't ready to leave. She's struggling to escape.
Pampered. Harassed.
The two are best friends, divided only by favoritism.
He's been coasting. She's been cutting.
He hides his feelings behind jokes. She hides her scars behind sleeves.
They fight the depression together.
He wants to help his sister. She doesn't know what will work.
Living through these years...Growing up.
He tries to support me like the crumbling walls of a house.
I hope they don't crash.
