The Twice Dead Hero

You shall ever be locked inside

the twice dead hero

the child not a day over 5

the brother never out of mind

to the world, a child was lost

to a brother who would tear the world asunder just to hear you speak

the entire world caved in

the oceans ceased to move

the sun ceased to shine

the grains of time seemed to stand still

because you died in that hospital

never to see the light

never to see the world locked in eternal night

never to see thine brother painted with battle scars drawn with knives on soft flesh

never to see the liquid collapse and escape into stupor

never to see the sun itself

never to rise at all t'was the fate of the twice dead hero

whom died in a room painted white

who dies with me shall I fade away from light
