Truth where to find you?

Psalm 119: 18

18 Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.

Oh, Truth!

You’re always in the open and most know where to find you.

Why do they seek in places ... where you cannot be found?

Are you to lovely ... in all you suggest and do

and folks cannot accept that as you are Heaven bound?

Most all seek for peace ... to fill the emptiness within

with their souls in hand, they search for the place of promise.

As truth appears to them ... they have no way to see Him

the only One Who understands and gave Himself in solace

Who opens the eyes so they can see ... who opens ears to hear?

Who opens hearts to receive ... the purpose of life?

Who shows us glimpses of Glory ... who sets us fancy-free?

Who paid our sin’s debts in gory ... so I live without strife?

A free ride to Heaven ... with my feet of clay

Every step I take ... leaves some of it behind

What an example ... I show off every day

as I stumble along ... ignoring help of every kind

My steps are like a shuffle ... as I am dragging on

Inviting folks to follow me on my lonely way back home

Always with feathers ruffled ... sensing a silent song

to follow some of the hollow ... that grows in being alone

Admirable internal rhyme and muse inspired with religious influence which I like. Great poetry. Kudos.

I see comments are not common here, but interaction is good for the human touch in this cold world.  Pleez do comment/ review my newest poem too.
