The Truth in Lies

You’ll see the scars

But not the signs

You’ll notice the clock

But not its time

You’ll see the sun

But neglect it’s shine

You’re asked how you’re feeling

But you claim you’re fine

You’ll see your friends

But stay confined

You’ll wear a noose

But refuse to untie

You’ll stand on the banister

But that’s the last time you’ll try

Your Mom will visit your grave

But each time she’ll cry

Your picture will be displayed

But by a few candle’s light

Your disappearance will be questioned

But people will ask the reason why

Your friends will point fingers

But everyone denies

They never saw it coming

Because the truth was hidden in lies
