Trust

They tell you to trust them

But how can you when they locked the door

How can you when they hid their face

How can you when they split you open

In the most horrid way possible

When you told them no relentless times

By moving their hand away countless times

They found their way back every time

You told them no by squeezing

Your fragile legs so close together

You thought they would melt together

But they didn't

And they still didn't understand

They still didn't stop

And the knock that came at the door

Was your safety

Or so you thought

You were forced to sleep next to them

And when you awoke in the darkness of night

So suddenly

Your breah was stolen as you

Found them touching you again

And no matter how many positions

You took shape of

Their hand never left

Hour after hour

You kept waking up, changing positions, waking up, changing positions, waking up, CHANGING POSITIONS

They still didn't stop

They still didn't understand

They kept whispering in your ear

To trust them

Now, you can't trust anybody

Or any position you lay in

You can't trust anything anymore

Not even yourself

Most of all

Yourself

And what goes on behind your eyes
